If you’re a new user, you’ll first need to register and then create your online profile to join the marketplace.
If you’re an existing Tonara Studio user, you can go ahead and log in with the same credentials to create your online profile.
Follow these steps to build your profile…
Register to the platform – enter your first and last name, your email address, password, and the main instrument you will be teaching.
On the following page, click on ‘Build My Profile’ to begin creating your profile.
Add more instruments if you teach more than one.
Select the year that you started teaching
Enter the experience levels that you feel comfortable teaching
Enter the ages you feel comfortable teaching
Enter the location you’ll be teaching from – either Online, a Private Studio, or the Student’s Home. If you’re teaching in a private studio or the student’s home, you can enter the address of the location.
Click the ‘Next’ button to go to the next page.
On the following page (Availability) your time zone will be automatically selected for you, but you can change it should you wish to.
Mark the days of the week that you are available for online lessons. Then mark the times for each day that you are open for online lessons. When you finish, click on the ‘Next’ button.
Enter the price details for the packages that you are willing to offer.
On the following page (About You), enter a headline (maximum of 75 characters) that best describes you as a teacher. Then enter a description to elaborate on your teaching methods, who you are as a teacher, etc. ( You can follow our examples if you get lost).
Now enter all the languages you know, and the level you are comfortable speaking with.
Enter your social links for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Private Website, and YouTube. This will allow students to get a better understanding of who you are.
Next, enter the details of your experience, education, and certifications.
Go ahead, and submit a profile picture ( follow our guidelines)
Last, you can submit a short two-minute video where you talk about who you are, what you love about music, why you love teaching, etc. You can either upload a video from your computer or pull a pre-created video from YouTube.
On the final page, you’ll be displayed with some of our highly recommended tips and recommendations to help you reach a higher ranking in the marketplace and have more students find you.
